My name is Jai and
I am a professional playback singer. At least that’s
what I call myself. I have been in this industry
for nearly three years and by god’s grace have
landed a few big hits which you can listen to on this site. I
can be counted among the lucky
few who is following his passion so to speak.
I was fortunate enough to give the backing
vocals for the film GURU too, an A.R Rehman musical.
I have learnt
Hindustani music for around 4 years and am dangerously
half-baked. So much so, when people hear me sing,
they aren’t really
able to decide whether I am fantastic or pathetic.
I prefer keeping them in annoying wonder. :-)
Well jokes apart, my mom is a great singer
and I am extremely grateful to god to have her in my
life in so many ways. She has been a source of enormous
courage and strength and if I have made it this far,
it’s entirely because of her.
I have a lovely sister and a wonderful brother-in-law
whom I owe a great deal to. He was the triggering factor
in my decision to take up music.
